Some businesses are starting to reopen, consumers are eating out at restaurants, people are traveling again showing that the economy in general is gradually recovering. Additionally, people are starting to exit from the federally-backed forbearance plans which is a good sign of the advancing housing market. 

People and neighborhoods of color exhibit greater pain from the COVID-19 recession effect. 

Unfortunately, others continue to struggle amid the coronavirus crisis, specifically the Black and Latino communities, a report from Urban Institute by Steve Brown, shows.
